Farhan’s new sticker inspired by gun celebration in IND vs PAK
As per Times of India, Farhan unveiled the new bat sticker which was inspired by his gun celebration that landed him in trouble in the IND vs PAK, Super Fours clash. In a video, the Pakistan opener reportedly stated that he intends to use the bat sticker in all future matches. After facing the ICC’s wrath for the celebration, Farhan didn’t repeat it in the Asia Cup final after scoring a fifty and instead simply raised his bat.
Farhan finished as the third highest run-getter in Asia Cup 2025. He amassed 217 runs from seven matches, averaging 31 and having scored a couple of half-centuries. As per Pakistan media reports, the Pakistan batter was felicitated on his return to his hometown Charsadda on Friday. In fact, Sahibzada was the only PAK batter to surpass 200 runs in Asia Cup 2025. Only two other PAK batters fared decently in the competition – Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Haris – with both of them scoring 181 and 131 runs respectively.
Having made his T20I debut way back in 2018, Farhan has played just 27 internationals in which he has managed to score 595 runs. His performance in Asia Cup might help him cement his spot in Pakistan’s playing XI, especially at a time when changes are loading following their loss to India thrice in the tournament.
