Nitish Reddy had a good outing with the bat as well, finishing as the second highest run-scorer in the SMAT Super League game against MP on Friday. Although he played a slow-paced 25-run knock off 27 deliveries, his contributions helped Andhra reach a face-saving 112-run total before they were bowled out. Prior to his hat-trick, Nitish only had 8 wickets from 37 games in T20s, with a best of 2/17.

In response, MP got off to the worst possible start in the run-chase, losing wickets in a heap early on in the innings.
