MI Schedule: As per a report in Indian Express, Mumbai Indians will play their first match against KKR on March 29.

The BCCI finally announced the first phase schedule of IPL 2026 after much delay on Wednesday. As per a report in Indian Express, The first match will begin on March 28 while the final will be played on May 31. Meanwhile MI will play their first match on March 29. InsideSport takes a look at the full schedule for MI.

First Mumbai play against Kolkata Knight Riders, in their opening fixture at home, and then after almost a week, play their next in Delhi against DC. Their third match will be up against RR in Guwahati while the fourth one will happen five days later against Chennai at home.

For now, only the part schedule is announced by the BCCI, and the next phase would be out soon too. The reason for that is the upcoming elections in a few states in India, which could add to the logistical complexity of the IPL 2026.
