Team India practice LIVE: India cricket team will take part in a three-hour practice session ahead of their semi-final contest against England in the T20 World Cup 2026. The Men in Blue, who were undefeated in the group stage of the marquee tournament, bounced back after a loss to South Africa in their first game of the Super 8 stage. Thereafter, they beat Zimbabwe in the second game following which Sanju Samson’s 97-run knock guided India to an impressive 5-wicket win against West Indies. India are vying for their second consecutive T20 WC title and face a major roadblock in the form of a formidable England.

The Indian practice session was delayed by an hour due to the Lunar eclipse. As per Indian Express, “The team found out that since it is chandra grahan ‘lunar eclipse’ one should avoid doing anything good. As India is playing semi-finals against England the team wanted to start on a positive note. Many felt that we can push the practice time until 6:40 PM one should avoid doing any activity. The team management agreed to it and practice was postponed by an hour,” a source told Indian Express.
