Paul Stirling & Brendon Taylor join the long list of injured players in T20 World Cup 2026
Players including Naveen-ul-Haq, Adam Milne, Tony de Zorzi, Donovan Ferreira were ruled out prior to the start of the tournament, a few more players have added to the list including Harshit Rana, Wanindu Hasaranga and a few others. Recently, on February 13, two more players were confirmed to miss the ongoing tournament due to their respective injuries. The Ireland team was handed a blow as they will now miss the services of veteran batter Paul Stirling due to knee injury.
The Ireland Cricket have however named Sam Topping as his replacement. Furthermore, Zimbabwe also suffered a setback with Brendon Taylor being ruled out due to hamstring pull.
