Chennai Super Kings IPL Auction 2023: Four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings went into the Auction with a total remaining purse of Rs 20.45 Crore. They bought a total of seven players and yet had a purse of Rs 1.50 Crore remaining by the end of the Auction.
CSK’s standout buy was England Test Captain Ben Stokes for record Rs 16.25 Crore, who is also seen as a successor to MS Dhoni. The Yellow Brigade now has a total of 25 players comprising of 8 overseas players.
