India vs England Live Score, Women's World Cup 2025 Warm-up: Hosts lose by 153 runs

Catch all the live scores from the India vs England warm up match from the ICC Women's World Cup 2025.

India vs England Live Score: It was a day to forget for the hosts as they lost the warm-up fixture against England by 153 runs. England scored 340 runs with Nat Sciver-Brunt scoring a ton, while the Indians were bundled out for 187. Interestingly, Harmanpreet Kaur, Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana did not bat at all in the match.

Harmanpreet Kaur’s team play their first warm-up fixture against a very-strong England side in Bengaluru, and this match would give them a fair idea, as to how things would go when the group stages of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 arrive. One thing to note is, in these practice matches, all the squad members can be utilised, and hence there are no playing XIs.

India have a strong spin attack as usual, and a batting line up that just does the job, but the problem will be the pace-bowling and all-rounders. India does not have Pooja Vastrakar, who is out injured, and top-6 of the batting order don’t bowl. So that doesn’t give the team the ideal balance. But then, this is still a very strong squad, when compared to other teams.
