Aayushi Shukla supported her well, claiming three wickets. Malaysia’s batters struggled to find their rhythm, with extras contributing 11 runs to their modest total.

A swift chase by India
Chasing a meagre target of 32 runs, India Women Under-19s finished the game in just 2.5 overs. Opener Gongadi Trisha led the charge with a quickfire 27 not out from 12 balls, including five boundaries. Her opening partner, G Kamalini, remained unbeaten on 4, guiding India to an easy victory. The Indian batters displayed aggressive intent from the start, achieving an impressive run rate of 11.29.
