Vaishnavi Sharma was the standout bowler for India, taking five wickets for just five runs, including a hat-trick that dismantled the Malaysian batting line-up. Aayushi Shukla supported her well, claiming three wickets. Malaysia’s batters struggled to find their rhythm, with extras contributing 11 runs to their modest total.

Opener Gongadi Trisha led the charge with a quickfire 27 not out from 12 balls, including five boundaries. Her opening partner, G Kamalini, remained unbeaten on 4, guiding India to an easy victory. The Indian batters displayed aggressive intent from the start, achieving an impressive run rate of 11.29.
