Shubman Gill and co. have arguably been the best well-oiled unit in IPL 2025 so far. After suffering a loss to PBKS in their tournament opener, GT have won four matches on the trot to top the standings. They will now take on a fidgety LSG at the Ekana in Lucknow.

Unchanged playing XI
GT are highly unlikely to make any changes to their playing XI. From the batters to the bowlers, contributions have flown in from all quarters of the line-up equally. Gill, who rediscovered his form in the previous time, will aim to mount woes on LSG bowlers in the powerplay along with his partner – the ever-consistent Sudharsan.
Buttler and Rutherford have executed their roles to perfections so far in IPL 2025. Washington Sundar could come in as the impact player to strengthen GT’s batting depth.
After going on a wicket-less spree in this season, Rashid finally managed to weave his magic in the previous game. Along with Sai Kishore and Tewatia, the spinners will play a crucial role in derailing LSG’s power-packed top-order.
Siraj and Krishna will continue to feature in the playing XI. Meanwhile, Ishant is set stay benched.
