The high-octane clash between India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy is all set to take place in the UAE, which will be hosting all of India’s league matches and Semi-final 1, in total of four games. According to him, tickets for this highly anticipated match will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness.

Line of thrillers in UAE
It is no hidden fact that Pakistan was initially set to host all the games of the Champions Trophy at three venues, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. However, after India decided that they would not play in Pakistan and suggested a hybrid venue model, the PCB initially did not agree to it.
After numerous meetings between the BCCI, PCB, and ICC acting as a mediator, an agreement was finally reached. Since the PCB is the host, their suggestions were crucial, but ultimately, the decision went in India’s favour.
The PCB accepted the hybrid model with certain conditions, one big aspect being that both countries will not travel to each other’s venues in major tournaments until 2027. These include the upcoming Champions Trophy, Women’s World Cup, Asia Cup, and the 2026 T20 World Cup.
But now all of India’s Champions Trophy matches are now set to take place at the Dubai International Stadium. If India qualifies for the final, Dubai will also host the final thriller as well.
