Shubman Gill reaches Guwahati

BCCI has confirmed that Shubman Gill will be part of Team India in Guwahati, but his participation isn’t confirmed. The final call will be taken after assessing his fitness. However, it’s understood that the Indian Test captain wishes to play and might train on November 20 to prove his fitness.

Hardik-Bumrah out

Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah won’t feature in the India vs South Africa ODI series. The BCCI doesn’t want to risk either of them and wants them to play just one format of white-ball cricket, T20Is, keeping the 2026 T20 World Cup in mind. Read more about it here.

RCB sale

Bengaluru-based film production and film distribution company Hombale Films, best known for producing KGF and Kantara, has shown interest in acquiring a stake in RCB. Earlier, Nikhil Kamath, Adar Poonawalla, Ranjan Pai, and Parth Jindal showed interest in the sale of RCB.

Venkatesh KKR-MS Dhoni

Venkatesh Iyer has expressed a desire to return to KKR despite the franchise releasing him before the IPL 2026 auction. Asked which team he’d like to be part of if not KKR, Venkatesh said, ‘anywhere else.’ The all-rounder also shared about his learning from MS Dhoni.

Rinku Singh’s glorious 176-run knock has helped Uttar Pradesh cut down the gap between the top three sides in Elite Group A. After Tamil Nadu posted 455 on board, UP was 191/5. Rinku took the team to 460, gaining a mere 5-run lead and two crucial points.

Rohit Sharma has been dethroned as the number one ODI batter. After his 119-run knock against the West Indies, Daryl Mitchell has reached his career-high rating and gained a 1-point lead over Rohit. Two other Indians, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli, are also in the top five.
