Pakistan cricket is welcoming New Zealand and South Africa for a short but interesting tri-series scheduled to take place just before the Champions Trophy, from 8 February to 14 February 2025. Pakistan, who have improved in all facets when it comes to ODIs and performed really well, are coming from defeating South Africa, that too at the Proteas home, by 3-0. Although, let’s not forget their ICC outings have not been really good in recent times. But since the tournament is just before the Champions Trophy, it will be a good time for them to get all preparations done.
Speaking about other teams, such as New Zealand, they also had a good outing in the last ODI series, which they played against Sri Lanka, as they won by a 2-1 margin. Although one team that is not enjoying greater success in this format is South Africa, who played four series after the 50-over 2023 World Cup, first against India, then Afghanistan, Ireland, and then Pakistan, but lost three. Their sole series success came against Ireland. But now, it’s time for them to keep things on track.
Take a look at all the released information about this upcoming ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, South Africa, and New Zealand.

Now, speaking about the venues, four matches are going to be played across two quality venues, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Both of these venues were recently renovated, and these redesigned stadiums will now host the big clashes between their impressive teams.
