Pound for pound, Canelo vs. Charlo will be a terrific fight. The main event of a SHOWTIME PPV airing on Saturday, September 30 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas features Canelo Alvarez defending his undisputed super middleweight world titles against hard-hitting undisputed junior middleweight world champion Jermell Charlo. Presenting the Premier Boxing Champions Pay-Per-View will be Canelo Promotions.
The 12-round super welterweight co-main event of the pay-per-view will feature unbeaten wonder Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. versus aggressive top challenger Erickson “Hammer” Lubin. Former world champions Yordenis Ugas and Mario “El Azteca” Barrios will also face off for the interim WBC Welterweight title on the pay-per-view. Rising middleweights Elijah Garcia and Armando Resendiz square off in a 10-round main event to kick off the action.

Even though the four belts up for grabs will be Canelo’s super middleweight championships, the fight between Mexico’s Canelo Alvarez and America’s Jermell Charlo is expected to mark the first time in boxing history that two undisputed champions will square off.
Although many analysts have projected a knockout victory for Canelo, which would mean proving that he is back after having significant doubts in his last three fights, Charlo will be highly motivated if he prevails since he will be the undisputed junior middleweight and super middleweight champion.
The fight is this Saturday, September 30, at the T-Mobile Arena, and there is already a celebratory atmosphere there. The competitors are already in the city of sin, and this Wednesday there will be a press conference for an event where all the details must be worked out, such as who will be the referee and the three judges.
The Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo super middleweight world title bout will be officiated by Harvey Dock, who will be paid $4,150 by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Dock’s recent participation in two exciting fights, most notably Terence Crawford’s victory over Errol Spence Jr., but he was also present for the Devin Haney-Vasiliy Lomachenko match, serve as justifications for his inclusion as the third fighter in the ring for Saturday’s main event.
Max DeLuca, David Sutherland, and Steve Weisfeld were chosen as the judges and will each get $2,950 for their work. In one of Canelo’s 16 prior fights in Las Vegas, each of them had prior experience.
