According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, AEW President Tony Khan is giving AEW staff the choice to skip this week’s or next week’s “Dynamite” in order to attend Rotunda’s memorial services.

Rotunda, who had health concerns earlier this year, passed away last Thursday at the age of 36. Heart attack has been identified as the cause of death for the three-time former WWE World Champion. Since then, it has come to light that Rotunda passed away on Thursday afternoon while dozing off; he was not donning the defibrillator that a physician had advised him to do.

When WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt unexpectedly passed away last week, the wrestling industry suffered a terrible loss. Many AEW celebrities knew Wyatt personally, therefore it’s possible that some of them will skip filming for TV to attend Wyatt’s burial ceremony.

Wrestle Features tweeted the same news on the X platform, “AEW President, Tony Khan is granting the AEW roster the option to miss the next two Dynamite events so they can attend memorial services for Bray Wyatt.”

As soon as the announcement went viral, the tweet received numerous reactions from WWE fans appreciating his sweet act:

During the AEW All-In on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London, there were tributes to Wyatt. Renee Paquette quoted Wyatt at the commencement of the pre-show, and the House of Black made an appearance.

Several tributes to Wyatt were included in the SmackDown broadcast that aired on Friday, August 25, and following the event, several WWE stars got matching tattoos of Wyatt’s insignia.
