Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories release date, plot and much more

For the first time in the franchise’s history, Ubisoft has revealed a cross-over between two Assassin’s Creed titles. The Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories is an upcoming cross-game event by Ubisoft which will bind the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla into an epic crossover. Ubisoft plans to introduce two new stories that will reveal the ties between Kassandra of Odyssey and Eivor of Valhalla in Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories. Players will be able to enjoy the new DLC from December 14 onwards.

The Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories will be available as a new DLC and will be free to download for players who already own either Assassin’s Creed Odyssey or Valhalla. The Associate Creative Director of Ubisoft Quebec, Clemence Nogrix said,” When we look at all the Assassin’s Creed content released, they are all connected by characters, lore, locations, and moments in history. Even after the games are released there are stories to tell, questions to be answered.“

However, Ubisoft have strongly advised players not to play the Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories unless they have already finished both the base games as the upcoming DLC might reveal major spoilers from both the games. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also receive an update which will include several game improvements, a new yule festival and a Difficulty Settings update.

Ubisoft also revealed some information about the two new stories featured in the Crossover event. Players will be able to play the first story known as Those Who Are Treasured from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The second story known as A Fated Encounter can be played in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla after players have successfully unlocked the Valka the Seer. Gradually, we will get to see what happens when Kassandra and Eivor end up working together. Apart from the Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, Ubisoft also announced the arrival of the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla next year.
