Red Bull India has announced Red Bull Under My Wiiings with Ankit “V3nom” Panth, an opportunity for aspiring professional VALORANT players to learn from one of the most experienced figures in India’s PC esports ecosystem.
Red Bull India Brings Under My Wiiings Mentorship Program
Ankit “V3nom” Panth, India’s first gaming Red Bull Athlete, is a retired professional player and one of the country’s most seasoned PC esports competitors. He competed actively from 2008 to 2019, primarily in Counter-Strike, where he represented India on numerous occasions. Over the years, he has also built a reputation as a leader, mentor, and content creator within the ecosystem, actively engaging with and guiding upcoming players.
The two-day mentorship workshop will take place on March 28 and 29 at the Ministry of Esports Café in Pune, one of India’s premium gaming venues, with only 20 participants selected to learn directly from V3nom.
The program is designed as a structured mentorship experience, combining theory, gameplay, and direct interaction to give participants a clearer understanding of the path to professional esports. Across the two days, players will take part in sessions covering the realities of competitive gaming, high-level decision-making, and the fundamentals required to compete at a higher level.
The masterclass will also include multiple scrim blocks focused on player evaluation and structured play, alongside live coaching sessions, review segments, and adjustment rounds. Participants will also get the opportunity to take part in a community match with V3nom, followed by a showmatch-style draft and a final mentorship and Q&A session to close out the workshop.
In addition to the in-game learning experience, the initiative also aims to give players exposure to the broader esports ecosystem, including discussions around the path to becoming a professional player and content creation as a parallel avenue within the industry.
Commenting on the initiative, Ankit “V3nom” Panth said, “When I started competing over 17 years ago, India’s esports ecosystem was very different from what it is today. As a kid in a completely new industry, I had to figure everything out on my own and navigate a complex space with no proper structure at the time. While things have evolved, aspiring esports athletes still lack structured mentorship on how to navigate this ecosystem. Through Red Bull Under My Wiiings, I aim to help improve not just in-game skills, but also the out-of-game mindset and requirements that are equally important.”
Red Bull Under My Wiiings is designed to provide emerging players with access to mentorship and structured guidance, offering a closer look at the realities of competitive esports and the pathway to pursuing it professionally.
