We are already past the halfway mark of IPL 2024 and the competition for the top four and the title is shaping up nicely. Rajasthan Royals have virtually sealed their spot for the IPL playoffs as they sit comfortably on top of the table and are tipped to win the title. The battle for the top three after RR is getting intense with each passing match, with more than six teams competing for three spots.
Meanwhile, RCB might have turned around their fortunes by snapping out of the losing streak to win two back-to-back games. But, they still face an uphill task to make their way into the top four, given that they have only four games left. The prospects don’t look too good for Hardik Pandya-led MI either.
Super Computer predicts RR to top table, more blues for RCB
As per our BETSiE Super Computer, RR have 36.6% chance of winning IPL 2024 and a 73.1% chance of reaching the final after week 6 of the tournament. KKR, CSK and LSG are expected to finish in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
RCB, on the other hand, have 0% chances of either lifting the trophy or reaching the finals. On the contrary, they have 325.6% chances of finishing at the bottom of the table. PBKS and MI are predicted to finish in the 9th and 8th position respectively.

How does Super Computer produce the Prediction?
Our BETSiE Super Computer takes various factors into account while making the prediction. Match data including Run rate for, Run rate against, Overs faced and Wickets fallen of each team is taken into account. Expected scores for every match are determined using the match data that was previously mentioned. An average predicted run rate for and against is then assigned to each team.
