Glenn Maxwell came with all guns blazing to help his side clinch a stunning victory. India batted first and posted a mammoth total of 222. Though the Aussies started well, they lost wickets in quick succession. On came Glenn Maxwell and he took Australia out of its misery to win a last-ball thriller. And with this win, Australia have kept themselves alive in the series.

He brought his fifty in just 28 balls and continued to hammer the Men in Blue. A man in red-hot form took no prisoners as he slammed shots across all areas of the park. Maxwell continued his carnage as he hammered a 47-ball ton.

With a reverse scoop shot, he brought his fifty. And he hammered a full toss over long on for a four to reach the three-digit mark. Batting with a strike rate of 217, Maxwell roared back with 8 fours and 8 sixes to help the Men in Blue stitch a big win, Australia’s biggest run chase in T20Is.
