Deemed to be one of the most sought all-rounders ahead of the IPL 2023 auctions, it was rightly so that Punjab Kings paid a huge amount of money for Sam Curran. After an intense bidding war between Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Chennai Super Kings, it was Kings who ultimately bagged the English all-rounder.
The 24-year-old English man is a live wire on the field who was recently adjudged as the Man of the Tournament of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 held in Australia. Curran who is a known face in IPL missed last season’s campaign as a majority of the English players opted out of the tournament.
