GodLike Esports co-founder AmAR has released an official video statement addressing the tragic passing of Tahir “TAHIRFUEGO” Mukhtar, clarifying the timeline of the Tahir FF Incident and responding to misinformation that surfaced on social media following the incident.
Tahir, a long-time member of the GodLike bootcamp, had been associated with the organization for nearly four years. According to AmAR, Tahir was disciplined, professional, and deeply committed to his work during his time with the team.
However, in recent weeks, both his family and close friends had noticed that he was under extreme mental stress and was not emotionally stable.
Godlike AmAR Address Rumors and Clarification Regarding Tahir FF Incident
Clarification on MIZO Stream Rumors
One of the major rumors circulating online linked Tahir’s passing to noises heard during a recent MIZO livestream. AmAR firmly denied this connection. He clarified that at the time of the stream, Tahir had just arrived at the boot camp along with his mother and other relatives.
The sounds heard onthe stream were unrelated and were caused by balloons being popped during a 600,000-follower celebration, not due to any disturbance involving Tahir.
Timeline of the January 31 Incident
AmAR provided a detailed account of the events of January 31. Tahir’s mother was staying at the bootcamp’s guest room to support him, and Tahir had expressed his intention to return home to Kashmir to recover. A flight was already scheduled for later that day.
In the morning, a security guard informed the team that Tahir had fallen. AmAR and other GodLike members immediately rushed him to the hospital in their own vehicle, prioritizing speed over waiting for an ambulance.
During the journey, Tahir was conscious and speaking, but doctors later confirmed that he had suffered severe internal injuries. Despite emergency treatment and ventilator support, Tahir sadly passed away at the hospital.

Investigation and Response to Allegations
Addressing allegations and online speculation, AmAR stated that the entire incident occurred in the presence of Tahir’s mother and brother. He confirmed that CCTV footage covering the events has been handed over to the police and that a formal investigation is ongoing.
AmAR strongly denied any foul play or involvement by GodLike members, urging the community to refrain from creating false narratives.
The statement was delayed, he explained, because the team was focused on supporting Tahir’s family, completing police formalities, and arranging for the family’s return home.
Mental Health Advisory
AmAR concluded with a message urging anyone struggling with mental stress to speak openly and seek support. If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress, help is available.
