PUBG Mobile 4.1 Update: Frosty Funland Themed Mode
Far away lies a penguin empire, where penguins have built their own civilization, complete with towns, settlements, and technology on par with 20th century humanity. Alas, the glaciers have started melting away in recent years, and their home has begun to disappear. The penguins resolved to leave their homeland to embark on a long voyage across the ocean. Now, they have arrived on Erangel, where they have established a new home.
Map Areas
Penguinville: A cute, snow city established by the penguins through hard work and dedication.
Penguin Towns: Small towns built by the penguins when they first arrived. They serve as transit hubs to their homeland, and are also where they resided before Penguinville was completed. Many have stayed behind to protect and maintain them, so they remain quite lively.

Themed Items
Salted Fish Rocket Launcher: In its basic rocket launcher form, it fires exploding projectiles that deal damage and form patches of ice beneath players that cause them to slip.
The Flame Launcher skill can be used to propel the user forward by shooting flames from the rear of the rocket launcher. Players can fire and reload while the skill is active, but can’t control the rocket launcher’s speed. Swipe the screen to control the direction of flight. There are three flying states: ground, low altitude, and high altitude. Swipe up and down to switch between them. When the Flame Launcher skill is active, you can use the new Hover skill to freely aim and fire while being propelled forward.
Swordfish Syringe: A healing item that can be used on yourself of thrown. Use it on yourself to heal and gain a temporary speed boost. It can also be thrown along a targeted trajectory. If it hits a player, it will stick to them for a bit. The pierced player will receive healing and a temporary speed boost.
PUBG Mobile 4.1 Update: Classic Mode Updates
- Carry Loot Crates: After defeating an enemy, you can carry their loot crate.
- Firearm Adjustments: Adjusted the bullet speed and damage drop-off for rifles and SMGs.
- Firearm Reload Progress Display: A reload progress indicator is now visible on the weapon slot when reloading.
Combat SFX Improvements:
- Improved the sound effects of bullets whizzing past.
- Added sound effects for bullets hitting enemies.
- Added sound effects for knocking down and eliminating enemies.
