DreamHack x Hyderabad Comic Con 2024 Day 1: Highlights
Day 1 delivered exhilarating moments from some of the biggest esports competitions, as fans cheered on top teams and players at the Snapdragon Pro Series, Pan Fest, and KO Fight Night stages. These events showcased incredible talent and sportsmanship, giving fans an exciting preview of what’s to come in the semi-finals and finals.
- Snapdragon Pro Series (Call of Duty: Mobile) – Godlike Esports and Team XLR8 were the standout teams in the initial rounds, securing two wins each in their group games.
- OMEN VALORANT Campus Quest Season 2: As one of DreamHack India’s marquee events, the final rounds of the OMEN VALORANT Campus Quest Season 2 brought together some of the most talented university VALORANT teams from across the country. Amigos Esports dominated Day 1 with two wins in two matches.
- KO Fight Night (Street Fighter VI): Nurpu (Maharaja) emerged as the top performer of the day out of 32 participants, cementing their spot in the finals.
In addition to these, the Chess tournament in the Rapid format kicked off alongside exciting Retro and Board Games tournaments, drawing enthusiasts from all age groups.
The Meet & Greet Zone was a Day 1 highlight, featuring gaming personalities like Ketan Patel (K18), Harmandeep Singh (Mavi), Ankkita Chauhan (AnkkitaC), and Sunny Jha (Pitaji Plays), who connected with fans through stories, humor, and gaming insights.
