Mohun Bagan vs NorthEast United FC: Mohun Bagan grabbed a stunning win in their second game of the season. Previously, NorthEast United got the perfect start that they wanted. Mohammed Ali Bemammer gave the Highlanders a wonderful start with a wonderful long ranger to beat Vishal Kaith. A few minutes later Dippendu Biswas restored parity from a glancing header much to the delight of the Mariners.
The Highlanders yet again took the lead with a devastating counter attack. Jithin MS with a brilliant run laid off a perfect pass for Ajaraie who executes a sublime finish. Back into the hour mark, the Mariners come back in level terms with a goal from Subhasish Bose. In the dying minutes of the game, Jason Cummings scored for the Mariners to sink hope for the Highlanders and grab his side’s first win of the campaign.
