The legendary Lionel Messi is all set to visit the ‘City of Dreams’ Mumbai on Day 2 of the highly-anticipated GOAT tour on Sunday (December 14). After visiting Kolkata and Hyderabad on Saturday, where he was greeted by enthusiastic and ecstatic fans, the Argentine national is all set to visit the third Indian city. Along with Luiz Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, the GOAT is expected to attend an exhibition match, attend a fashion show, meet several personalities during his visit to the financial capital of the country.
Lionel Messi schedule on Dec 14
Messi is expected to leave for Mumbai from Hyderabad on Sunday morning. He will then head to the Cricket Club of India at 4.30 PM IST to grace his presence at a padel tournament where he is also set to meet the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
Following that, Messi will head to the Wankhede stadium at 5 PM IST where he will watch an exhibition match. As per Khel Now, the gates at the iconic venue will be thrown open for fans from 2 PM onwards. The report states that several Bollywood celebrities are expected to take part in the exhibition match which will be aa 7 on 7 affair.
Post this, Messi is expected to attend a private fashion show. Funds raised from this event will be donated for charitable activities. John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jackie Shroff are also expected to be some of the Bollywood stars who will be at the event and could potentially shake hands with Messi.
