Who is Kamindu Mendis, only ambidextrous player in IPL?
Can someone bowl with both hands? Possibly, but not many names come to mind. However, in the IPL, we have one such player. That’s right, SRH star Kamindu Mendis is showcasing his talent against KKR.

Well, you surely remember the movie 3 Idiots, where Boman Irani’s character was ambidextrous and could write with both hands. Now, in IPL 2025, we are witnessing something similar—not in writing, but in bowling! That’s right, Sri Lankan all-rounder Kamindu Mendis, known for his calm and composed batting, has already made a name for himself in Sri Lanka’s batting lineup.

Now, this 26-year-old, currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, is showcasing his incredible ambidextrous bowling skills vs KKR. He isn’t just bowling with his left hand but also with his right! During the match against IPL 2024 champions, he first bowled left-arm spin to Angkrish Raghuvanshi, deceiving him, and then, when Venkatesh Iyer came to the crease, he switched to right-arm spin.
