The Adelaide Test is heating up as the pink-ball test witnesses interesting turnarounds. As it stands, Australia is currently dominating the match. Unlike Perth, their batting looks solid, but there’s a chance we may see a counterattack from the Indian side.
On Day 1, several moments captured the spotlight. Rohit Sharma returned as captain and moved down the order after almost six years, sacrificing his opening slot for an in-form KL Rahul, who did an impressive job at the top. However, Team India’s batters failed to capitalize on the momentum they had coming into the Test match. They arrived in Adelaide with a massive 295-run victory in Perth but managed only 180 runs in the second Test.
Mitchell Starc once again showcased his class for Australia, taking 6 wickets. Looking at India’s bowling, they will need to do something extraordinary today. Currently, only one wicket has fallen, and Australia is at 86/1. It will be interesting to see how things goes.
