The biggest franchise T20 cricket league, IPL 2025, is just weeks away. While some of the biggest stars are playing in the ongoing Champions Trophy, the other players who are off duty have already started their preparations for the much-awaited season ahead. Chennai Super Kings have started their practice at the CSK Academy in Chennai, including superstar MS Dhoni. People are so excited that they have turned to the surrounding balconies to watch MS Dhoni practice.
In a video shared by CSK’s official social media handle, players were seen practicing in the CSK camp. Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad are the notable names seen in the video.
MS Dhoni’s practice session
MS Dhoni started his training by playing some football with his teammates. After that, he was seen practicing his wicketkeeping skills. When he came to bat, people crowded their balconies and terraces to watch MS Dhoni play. MS Dhoni smashed some big hits, which thrilled the people watching him from the balconies. People were seen holding banners saying, “Dhoni, we love you.”
IPL to start from March 22
IPL 2025 will start on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru. CSK will be playing their first match on March 23 against their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians at the Chepauk Stadium.
