UP Warriorz will be eyeing a massive revamp at the WPL 2026 auction as they have finalized on their retention. The team, which was led by Deepti Sharma in 2025 in the absence of regular captain Alyssa Healy, have decided to retain just one player, leaving them with an auction purse of Rs 14.50 crore. The side has never won the WPL trophy and is reportedly one of the franchises who want to make a major overhaul before the next edition of the tournament.

The WPL Auction is slated to take place on November 27 in Delhi, and the BCCI has informed all the franchises about the same, as per Sportstar. To be precise, the event will be held in a hotel in Aerocity, close to the city’s airport.
