What started as just two Asian nations playing against each other, Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka have become so-called “Naagin Derby”. Both sets of fan bases and players do not leave a chance to engage in a banter and at times mock each other. They have a long history of rivalry, and their matches are always closely contested. In recent years, Bangladesh have become a force to reckon with against Sri Lanka, curtailing the island nation’s dominance.
