No Chandimal, Malinga in Sri Lanka Asia Cup 2025 squad
Dinesh Chandimal has been left out of the squad while Eshan Malinga also failed to make the cut. Jeffrey Vandersay, who often deputises for Hasaranga was also a notable omission.

Mishara smashed a tournament high 6 sixes and will gain some expeeience in the T20s against Zimbabwe. Nuwanidu Fernando finished the tournament as the highest run-getter and earned a call up as well.
Niroshan Dickwella missed out despite starring in the invitational series. Sri Lanka are well stocked at the top of the order with Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Perera and Kusal Mendis.
