God’s plan! Rinku Singh continues to prove his famously uttered words time and again. From hitting five sixes in the last over of an Indian Premier League (IPL) match to hitting the winning boundary of an India vs Pakistan final, Rinku has manifested his desires and made them a reality.
Hours before the 2025 Asia Cup final, it wouldn’t have occurred in anyone’s wildest dreams that Rinku would play the match. But an unfortunate injury to Hardik Pandya brought the left-handed batter into India’s Playing XI. Mind you, he hadn’t even played a match in the tournament.
But there he was. To end things on an all-time high, it was Rinku who smashed Haris Rauf for a boundary over long-off to win the tournament. But the outcome wasn’t shocking. Why? Because Rinku had predicted it all three weeks in advance.

While chatting with Sony Sports, the broadcast and streaming holder of the Asia Cup, Rinku was asked about the one desire he wishes gets fulfilled by the end of the tournament. Mind you, this was on September 6. The batter’s answer was ‘hitting the winning runs’ in the Asia Cup final. Guess what? Rinku did it. He manifested desire and turned it into reality.
