Trusting him with the pace attack, Faf du Plessis used him for 3 overs straight in his opening spell. The result? He gave away just 10 runs in 3 overs, bowling with an economy of 3.30. Not just his bowling heroics, Dayal was crucial in saving a couple of boundaries for the hosts.
He got his chance to finish his spell on the 18th over of the game. PBKS had to power hitters, Jitesh Sharma and Sam Curran on the crease. Curran went on to hammer him for two fours.
