Mumbai skipper Ajinkya Rahane finds his golden touch in the Ranji Trophy final. Breaking free from the shackles of poor form, the veteran played a 73-run knock in the finals against Vidarbha. Rahane stood tall along with Musheer Khan on Day 2 to give Mumbai the upper hand.

Rahane shines in Ranji Trophy 2024 final

Rahane steadied the ship for Mumbai after they lost openers Prithvi Shaw and Bhupen Lalwani early in the 2nd innings. He faced 143 deliveries, striking five fours and one six during his knock. Rahane was dismissed by Harsh Dubey in the 1st session on Day 3.

This is Rahane’s second fifty in this tournament and his highest score this season. In Ranji Trophy 2024, Rahane has scored 0, 0, 16, 8, 9, 1, 56*, 22, 3 0, 19 and 73.
