Known for keeping his calm, the incident seemingly took Dravid by surprise and had upset him. The incident reportedly took place at around 4 PM on Tuesday in the Central Business District area in Bengaluru.
After finishing his stint as India coach following the T20 World Cup tripumph, Dravid returned to the IPL circle. He will now lead Rajasthan Royals as their new head coach in IPL 2025.
The former RR captain, who mustered 1,276 runs for the franchise, has been one of the pillars for Rajasthan Royals. He has a long-standing relationship as Dravid captained the team for two seasons in 2012 and 2013 before mentoring two more editions. While Dravid then moved to the Delhi Capitals (formerly known as Delhi Daredevils) in a mentorship role, he has always had a great camaraderie with the RR franchise, jointly owned by Manoj Badale and The Royals Sports Group.
