The England Cricket Team will be taking on Team India for the IND vs ENG 3rd T20I at Rajkot. The task is on the Three Lions to force their way back into the series. India leads the series 2-0 and a win at Rajkot will effectively seal the series. Ace pacer Jofra Archer was hit for 60 runs and this can prompt Brendan McCullum to opt for Gus Atkinson and rest Archer for this game.
Predicted England XI for 2nd T20I
- Phil Salt (WK)
- Ben Duckett
- Jos Buttler (C)
- Harry Brook
- Liam Livingstone
- Jamie Smith
- Jamie Overton
- Brydon Chase
- Gus Atkinson
- Adil Rashid

All eyes on England Batting lineup
England’s batting lineup has faltered in both the previous 2 games. As a result, the Three Lions will have to give their best for this upcoming tie. As a result, the onus will be on the English batters to pile up a good score. Batting first in both games, England managed 132 in Kolkata and 165 in Chennai.
Facing a tough opposition like India especially in India is never easy. And if England plans on forcing a way back into the series, the job is simple – The batsman has to fire on all cylinders.

Gus Atkinson in place of Jofra Archer
Gus Atkison played the first game at Eden Gardens where he gave away 38 runs in 2 overs. But come Chepauk, Archer was no batter. The ace pacer gave away 60 runs in 4 overs and managed to scalp just a wicket. An economy of 15 is never too good when facing India. And thus it would be a perfect opportunity for England to rest Archer and give Atkinson a chance to be a part of the Playing XI.
