Kaki Nitish Kumar Reddy, born on May 26, 2003, is an Indian cricketer. He represents Andhra in domestic cricket and plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. His first-class debut came on January 27, 2020, during the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season. Reddy entered List A cricket on February 20, 2021, for Andhra in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. His Twenty20 debut occurred on November 4, 2021, for Andhra in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He was acquired by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 20 Lakh during the 2023 Indian Premier League auction.

Domestic career 

Nitish’s talent was recognized by former Indian Cricketer and selector MSK Prasad during his participation in Under-12 and Under-14 matches. As a result, he was selected to undergo training at the ACA academy in Kadapa, where he received coaching from Madhusudhana Reddy and Srinivasa Rao.

Building on this foundation, Nitish had an outstanding season, highlighted by his remarkable performance of scoring 441 runs against Nagaland. This included a quadruple century achieved in just 345 deliveries. By the end of the 2017-18 Vijay Merchant Trophy, he amassed a total of 1237 runs at an impressive average of 176.41, setting a tournament record. Additionally, he contributed with 26 wickets. These achievements earned him the prestigious BCCI ‘Best Cricketer in the Under-16’ Jagmohan Dalmiya award for the 2017–2018 season. Notably, Nitish became the first player from the Andhra Cricket Association to receive this esteemed recognition.
