Suryakumar Yadav didn't shake Salman Ali Agha's hand during the toss, and later, no Indian player greeted any member of the Pakistan team after the match.

Controversy around the India vs Pakistan match continues. Earlier, there were calls to boycott the game from the Indian public, but it went on as planned. However, after the match, the criticism is coming from the Pakistani side. After winning by 7 wickets, no Indian player or support staff member shook hands with the opposition.

This irked Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha, and he didn’t attend the post-match interview afterwards. Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson expressed that he was disappointed with what had happened. Also, India captain Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the victory to the Indian armed forces, which made the matter political.

Pakistan cricketer crosses the line, mocks Operation Sindoor

In his post-match presser, Suryakumar went on to say that India gave Pakistan a ‘proper reply’ by thrashing them in Dubai. All of this has angered the Pakistani public and even cricketers. Their current right-arm pacer Aamir Jamal took to X (formerly Twitter) to bash India, Suryakumar, BCCI, and the Indian government.

However, Jamal didn’t stop there. He took a dig at Operation Sindoor, which was conducted by the Indian armed forces in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack. Jamal used the ‘6-0’ impression, which, for the unaware, means that the Pakistan Air Force managed to shoot down 6 Indian jets during the skirmish while the Indian Air Force was unable to inflict any damage.

This theory has been debunked but continues to be used by the large majority of Pakistani users on social media. Jamal just happens to be another one of those.

“Well, when it come to sportsmanship India will always lack of these things. Just watched SKY presser after the match where he quoted that government BCCI were on the same page to give a proper reply. Thats not a reply. its game of cricket. and if you really wanted to give a reply. You had chance when 6-0. Happened Feeling pity for those who are still proving that they are Indian,” Jamal wrote on his X account.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also lodged a complaint against Team India‘s conduct as well.
