Musheer was instrumental in building a crucial partnership with skipper Ajinkya Rahane. The duo steadied the ship for Mumbai on Day 2 after losing openers Prithvi Shaw and Bhupen Lalwani early. Musheer continued to play a patient knock on Day 3, unhindered by Rahane’s dismissal.
