Continuing to don the similar blue colour, the new MI jersey has done away with the massive gold strip that was present in the previous edition. Lauritz Knudsen continues to be the main sponsor for MI. However, the Malaysia Airlines has replaced IDFC First Bank as the other sponsor beside the MI logo in front. Skechers continues to be the jersey sponsor.
However, MI haven’t done away with the gold, as the ‘wave-like’ pattern is present on the sides, representing the iconic Arabian Sea. The official match jersey is priced at INR 5999 at the Mumbai Indians’ website. It is customisable, with fans being able to write any player’s name on the back with a jersey number as well. This is a bit expensive, considering CSK launched their new jersey at INR 2399.
At INR 2499, fans can get MI custom replica edition jersey. Meanwhile, the training jersey has also been launched by MI, being priced at INR 999. The official fan jersey (men) is priced at INR 999 as well.
