Pace sensation and India’s firearm, Jasprit Bumrah, is the third-highest wicket-taker for India in T20 World Cup history. The Gujarat-born, who has represented India in the tournament from 2016 to 2024, has picked up 26 wickets from 18 matches at an economy of 5.44.
Arshdeep Singh (27 wickets from 2022-2024)
In the second place is a budding and talented Indian pacer, Arshdeep Singh, who, despite featuring in only two editions thus far, has picked up 27 wickets. Singh is 22nd overall, along with New Zealand’s Ish Sodhi and West Indies’ Dwayne Bravo.
R Ashwin (32 wickets from 2012 to 2022)
Former India international and one of the spin legends, Ravichandran Ashwin, tops the list of Indian bowlers with the most wickets in T20 World Cup history. Having featured in the tournament from 2012 till 2022, Ashwin picked up 32 wickets across 24 matches at an economy of 6.49. Although in the overall ranking, he sits at joint 13th place along with Mitchell Starc.
