India A vs Oman, Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: India A have entered the semifinals of Asia Cup Rising Stars with a 6-wicket win over Oman in their last Group B match. India ended up with four points from 3 matches and a net run rate of +1.979. India suffered a comprehensive defeat against Pakistan A in their last match. But on Tuesday, Harsh Dubey did the star turn. After bagging 1/30 with the ball, he scored an unbeaten 53 off 44 balls to chase down a 136-run target.
It was a surprising move to send Dubey to No 4 after India lost Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi early in the powerplay. But Dubey steadied the ship with Naman Dhir before taking India closer to the win with a 66-run stand.
Earlier, excellent bowling from Suyash Sharma and Harsh Dubey restricted Oman to 135/7 in 20 overs despite a blazing start by Hammad Mirza (32 off 16). While Wasim Ali scored a half-century (54 off 45 balls), he did not have enough support to post a challenging total. India A opted to bowl first against Oman in their last league match.
