It is a star-studded round with the likes of Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant featuring for their respective domestic sides. Interestingly, KL Rahul also returns to the side for Karnataka for their fixture against Tripura in Ahmedabad. The Indian keeper is touted to play two matches before the India vs New Zealand series kicks in.

KL Rahul last featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Karnataka back in 2019 and was part of the title-winning side. Alongside the likes of Devdutt Padikkal, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey and Karun Nair, KL Rahul formed a superb team that was almost unbeatable. He made 598 runs at a great average of 66.44 that season.
