Even though the IPL 2026 schedule is yet to be released, it is a given that it will begin sometime in late March. So, not much time is left for the proceedings to commence. Hence, some of the franchises have started with their pre-season camps, while the others will begin shortly. While majority of players have started reaching their respective destinations, the others will join their respective teams after the completion of T20 World Cup 2026.

Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH kickstarted their training in Hyderabad on March 1, with a chunk of uncapped players training with Varun Aaron. As per reports, the likes of Salil Arora, Harsh Dubey and Aniket Verma have joined the camp.

As per reports, MS Dhoni and Ruturaj Gaikwad are present at the venue, along with Ayush Mhatre, Sarfaraz Khan, Mukesh Choudhary, Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma.

For now, MI players who are not on national duty, are participating in the DY Patil tournament in Navi Mumbai. Post that, the players will start with the camp around March 12-15. The likes of Quinton de Kock, Trent Boult and Will Jacks are expected to arrive on March 10.

GT too have had a series of camps this year. In Jan they had a camp to evaluate the fitness levels of the players. Then on Feb 16, they had a camp at the Miraj International Stadium in Nathdwara. For now, the likes of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan are already training in Ahmedabad, but the main camp will start between March 12-15.
