IPL 2026 auction: Full list of 350 players with base price

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the list of 350 players that will be available for the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini auction. It was previously reported that as many as 1355 players registered themselves for the auction after which the BCCI pruned the list to 350 . Among 350 players who will be available to go under the hammer, 240 are indians while 110 are overseas options. These players will fight for 46 (Indians) and 31 (foreign) slots.

The auction, set to be hosted in Abu Dhabi on December 16, will see no marquee set as it will be a mini auction. The auction will start with capped set of batters, all-rounders, wicketkeepers followed by fast bowlers and spinners. The likes of Cameron Green, Prithvi Shaw, Sarfaraz Khan and David Miller are part of the opening set.

As mentioned earlier, the accelerated round of the auction will start from player number 71. The 70th player on the list is Afghanistan’s Wajidullah Zadran. The accelerated round in the IPL auction mean that after the names of first 70 players (here) are called out, franchises would be asked to submit a list players from remaining pool whom they are interested in bidding for. Only the players nominated by at least one franchise are brought for live bidding. There could be multiple rounds for these players.

At the IPL 2026 auction, the youngest player is Sahil Parakh (June 7, 2007), who is part of India’s Under-19 team. The oldest individual is Jalaj Saxena (December 15, 1986), an Indian domestic veteran, who will turn 39 on the eve of the auction!
