- KL Rahul suffered a hamstring injury and was ruled out of the T20 series against Sri Lanka and is also unlikely for the 1st Test.
- KL Rahul sustained an upper left hamstring strain during fielding in the 2nd ODI on 9th February 2022
- He is at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for further management of their injury.
“KL Rahul looks doubtful at least for the T20 series,” a senior BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
- He was bought for a hefty Rs 17 crore by Lucknow after he left Punjab Kings.
- He played a vital role as a batter with 550+ runs for the last 4 IPL seasons and will be looking to change his fate as captain.
- Lucknow has roped in Quinton de Kock as his opening partner for the IPL 2022 season. The team fared extremely well at the auction ahead of the debut season.
