Another T20 tournament has emerged, with the Global Super League kicking off on November 26 where five teams from leagues across the world will lock horns

The five-team Global Super League will get underway in Guyana from November 26 onwards, marking the emergence of yet another T20 league. The tournament will feature five franchises from various leagues across the world locking horns to win $1 million prize money. Vitality Blast’s Hampshire Hawks, CPL’s Guyana Amazon Warriors, BPL’s Rangpur Raiders, PSL’s Lahore Qalandars and Australia’s Victoria will take part in GSL.

Global Super League to begin on Nov 26

The tournament is scheduled to take place between November 26 to December 6. Inspired by the IPL, a lot of T20 leagues have emerged in the recent past, including SA20, ILT20, MLC and more. While GSL is the latest addition to the list, it remains to be seen how the league becomes popular, given the cut throat competition with other tournaments and the absence of Indian players.
