With the intense battle on between the top eight teams in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday, February 24 unveiled the schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be played from June 12 in England. The tournament will see 12 teams compete for the coveted title with the final scheduled to be held on July 5.
The Women in Blue, who have been placed in Group A along with some of the top teams in Australia, arch-rivals Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and Netherlands, will be vying for their major T20 title after they recently clinched their maiden World Cup, beating Australia.
India Women schedule for T20 World Cup 2026
Speaking of Harmanpreet Kaur-led India Women’s schedule, they will kickstart their campaign on June 14 against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. Thereafter, they will take on Netherlands on June 17, followed by a game against South Africa Women on June 21. India Women will then play Bangladesh Women on June 25, followed by the much-awaited game against six-time champions, Australia Women on June 28 at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
