With the ODI series under their belt, Ayush Mhatre’s U19 Team India would like to sign off from the Test series, with a victory too. The first match at Beckenham ended in a draw, and now is the chance for India to turn things around, especially when they came tantalisingly close to the victory.
All eyes will be on 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who impressing with his stroke play in the ODI series, scored a fifty in the second innings of the first Test. That is a testament to his adaptability. For India — keeper Abhigyan Kundu came with valuable contributions with the bat, along with Vihaan Malhotra, Rahul Kumar, Ambrish and Henil Patel. Meanwhile, Archie Vaughan and Rocky Flintoff will be the ones to watch out for, from England U19. They were amongst the wickets, and scored a few runs too.
