The countdown for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has finally ended. February 2 marks the beginning of the warm-up games with three matches scheduled on Day 1. The marquee fixture, however, is the India ‘A’ vs USA. The India ‘A’ side that features the return of Tilak Varma is filled with IPL stars. A superb stage to show the talent for the budding stars. As for the USA, it is an important testing matchup to challenge themselves before facing heavyweights like India and Pakistan in the actual tournament.
Earlier today, the BCCI announced the India ‘A’ squad. Three players marking their return are Tilak Varma, Riyan Parag and Mayank Yadav. The team will be led by Ayush Badoni, who is in close quarters with the Indian team as well. Ravi Bishnoi is also part of the team and so is Vipraj Nigam and Priyansh Arya.
