The countdown for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 has begun. In less than two weeks from now, the biggest Asian tournament is set to start. With keeping the next year’s T20 World Cup 2026 in mind, this edition of the Asia Cup will be played in the T20I format. Only twice (2016 and 2022) has the tournament been previously played in the shortest format. Back in 2016, India were the inaugural winners of the Asia Cup T20I before Sri Lanka amazed everyone to clinch the silverware three years ago.
After we saw the list of the top highest run-getters from the tournament, it is now time to look at the leading wicket-takers who have dominated the Asia Cup T20I charts. This year, the tournament will be played in the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This means spinners could come in handy.
